This is your opportunity to work with cutting-edge machinery, solve diverse engineering challenges, and develop your career within a collaborative and forward-thinking team.The RoleAs a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment across the site.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) - Maintain equipment to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.Breakdown Response - React quickly to faults to reduce production disruption.Fault Diagnosis & Repair - Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.Continuous Improvement - Identify and implement improvements to enhance performance, safety, and reliability.Team Collaboration - Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth operations.What We're Looking ForTechnical Expertise - Strong electrical skills with solid mechanical knowledge.Experience within a manufacturing environment (ideally FMCG).Ability to deliver both proactive and reactive maintenance while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across plant and site services.Qualifications (one or more of the following preferred):·BTEC / ONC minimum in Electrical discipline·Multi-skilled Engineering qualification·C&G 2330 Level 3 Electro-technical Certificate combined with NVQ Level 3 Electrical Maintenance·Time-served apprenticeship·HNC in Electrical or Production Maintenance EngineeringSuitable BackgroundsThis role would suit candidates with experience as:Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, Day Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Service Engineer, or Packaging Engineer.
