Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

This role is ideal for an engineer with strong electrical maintenance experience and working knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical plant and plumbing within a facilities management, building services or commercial maintenance environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of critical building systems while ensuring compliance with statutory and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
*
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across building services systems
*
Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of electrical systems, HVAC plant and mechanical equipment
*
Perform inspections, testing and servicing in line with SFG20 maintenance standards
*
Maintain water systems and distribution systems within the building
*
Monitor subcontractors and ensure site inductions and safety procedures are followed
*
Work with site teams to ensure maintenance activities are completed, logged and reported accurately
*
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH and Permit to Work procedures
*
Maintain clear and accurate records of maintenance activity, test results and corrective actions
*
Support continuous improvement of PPM schedules and building performance
Skills and Experience
*
Experience working as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Building Services Engineer
*
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC equipment and building services plant
*
Experience working with Building Management Systems (BMS)
*
Experience working to SFG20 maintenance standards
*
Background in facilities management, commercial buildings or critical environments

City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 & 3 Electrotechnical Technology
*
City & Guilds 236 Parts 2 / 2360 Parts 2
*
City & Guilds 2351 (All eight units)
*
City & Guilds 2365-03 Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation (Buildings & Structures)
*
City & Guilds 8202-30 Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Electrical Installation (T Level)
*
EAL Level 3 Diploma in Electrotechnical Services / Electrical Installation
*
18th Edition BS 7671 Certification (Essential)
*
NET AM2 Certificate (Desirable)
