Job Description

Multi Skilled Engineer\n\n£45,000\n\nMonday - Friday (and some Saturdays)\n\nManchester\n\nMulti Skilled Engineer\n\nSkills, Experience, and education required:\n\n * Hands-On Engineering Experience, preferably through recognised time-served apprenticeship within food manufacturing\n\n * Minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3\n\n * Knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanical, Electrical & PLC/Inverter Assets\n\n * Skills and capability to logically diagnose and fault find on a variety of equipment/situations\n\n * Experience of working with OEM suppliers to drive improved machine performance /reduce costs (Desirable)\n\nMulti Skilled Engineer\n\nKey Responsibilities and Duties\n\nAs an Multi Skilled Engineer, you will need to:\n\n * Ensuring that the site is always ready for internal and external food safety audits (e.g. BRC)\n\n * Ensuring that the site is always ready for internal and external legal compliance audits (e.g. HSE)\n\n * Ensuring department KPIs and targets are delivered on time and in full.\n\n * Ensuring that the daily engineering activity plan is delivered to the satisfaction of production\n\n * Ensuring that plant history is captured to high standards, enabling equipment performance review\n\n * Ensuring that the DRM structure is supported appropriately by taking proactive actions\n\n * Ensuring that high standards to 5S levels are maintained across the factory, including workshops\n\n * Ensuring that both chronic and repeat downtime events are rigorously assessed for true root cause.\n\n * General Maintenance of equipment\n\n * Planned and preventative maintenance of machinery on site.\n\n * Ensuring daily Engineering plan is delivered on time\n\nKeywords\n\nMultiskilled Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Duel-skilled Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Food Engineer
