KSD Support Services Ltd is part of the KSD Group, a leading building maintenance and facilities management provider operating across the UK. The company delivers comprehensive FM services to a portfolio of prestigious clients, including major retail, hospitality, and commercial organisations such as Tesco and Stonegate Group.
JOB PURPOSE
To respond in a prompt and effective manner to planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks, as allocated by the Helpdesk.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Duties:
The primary responsibilities are detailed below, however KSD Support Services Ltd may require additional responsibilities to be absorbed within reason from time to time to meet business demands.
* Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken e.g., completing daily work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job, taking site before and after photos
* Ensuring that Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices are adhered to at all times, in accordance with all technical standards
* Build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues
* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and client satisfaction
* Participate in the 'out-of-hour service’ on a Rota basis, on average 1 in 4 weeks
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Requirements:
* Full Clean UK Driving License
* Experience in multiple trades such as Carpentry and Joinery, Plumbing, Tiling, Rendering, Plastering and Painting and Decorating
* Solid understanding on the safe use of power and hand tools
* Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude
* Be able to priorities all allocated work sensibly and efficiently
* Be a great team player as well as having ability to work on your own initiative
* Confident using handheld IT Equipment - Basic understanding of Excel, Outlook and word
* Excellent timekeeping and communication skills
* Full industry recognised qualification obtained to NVQ Level 3, or equivalent
* CSCS Card.
Desirable Requirements:
* Previous experience working within facilities mmanagement would be beneficial
* First Aid certificate
* Asbestos Awareness certificate
* IPAF - Mobile Vertical (3a) + (3b) Mobile Boom certificate
* PASMA - Mobile Access Tower for Users desirable certificate
* UKPIA / SPA Petrol Retail Contractors Safety Passport card.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Working Hours:
* 45 hours per week, you must be flexible with working days/hours, working away, early starts, late finishes and some weekend work.
* Participate in the 'out-of-hour service’ on a Rota basis, on average 1 in 6 weeks. This will involve unsocial hours, weekends and public and bank holidays.
