Questech Recruitment are working with a forward-thinking manufacturing business that is expanding its operations. We are recruiting on their behalf for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with hands-on 3D printer experience to support ongoing operations on a contract basis.\n\nAs a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimising a range of production equipment, along with 3D printing (additive manufacturing) systems. This is a fast-paced role requiring both electrical and mechanical expertise.\n\nJob Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer\nLocation: York\nRate: £35 per hour Inside IR35\nShifts: 4 On 4 Off Days & Nights\nStart Date: ASAP\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of machinery, including 3D printers\n\n * \n\n Diagnose faults and perform repairs on mechanical and electrical systems\n\n * \n\n Support installation, calibration, and commissioning of 3D printing equipment\n\n * \n\n Ensure minimal downtime and continuous production efficiency\n\n * \n\n Work with production teams to improve machine reliability and performance\n\n * \n\n Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation\n\n * \n\n Adhere to health & safety standards at all times\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (electrical & mechanical)\n\n * \n\n Strong experience working with 3D printers / additive manufacturing equipment\n\n * \n\n Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)\n\n * \n\n Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics\n\n * \n\n Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills\n\n * \n\n Experience within manufacturing, automation, or production environments\n\n * \n\n Flexible and proactive approach to work\n\nTo be considered for this role please apply with your most up to date CV or for more information please call and speak to Simon
