Multi-Skilled Maintenance EngineerLocation: SheffieldSalary: Up to £51,000Shifts Available: Workshop Based 3 Shift Pattern Monday to Friday (Mornings, Afters & Nights)(We are also recruiting field service positions paying up to £60,000 if you prefer to be on the road)The RoleAs a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of production equipment through planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance activities. Typical responsibilities will include: Responding to equipment and machinery breakdowns, carrying out fault finding and repairs.Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults on production equipment.Working with PLC controlled equipment to assist with fault diagnostics.Carrying out electrical isolations and safe working procedures.Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability.Conducting root cause analysis following equipment failures.Working collaboratively with operations and engineering teams to minimise downtime. What We're Looking For Apprenticeship trained engineer (Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled).Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.Experience maintaining industrial machinery within manufacturing environments.Knowledge of PLC controlled systems and automated equipmentExperience with hydraulics, pneumatics, drives or motor controls What's on Offer Salary up to £51,000 depending on shift pattern / experienceOpportunities to join established and growing engineering teamsLong-term career development and progression within stable manufacturing businessesJBRP1_UKTJ
