Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) – Injection Moulding Department: Maintenance / Engineering Location: Hampton Reports To: Maintenance Manager Employment Type: Full‑time / Permanent Salary: £48,000 or £52,000 (plus a 12.5% shift allowance) Role Purpose The Mechanical Engineer will provide specialist engineering support for injection moulding operations at Hallite Seals International. The role ensures that moulding machinery, tooling, and associated mechanical systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably to meet production, quality, and business performance targets. Key Responsibilities 1. Mechanical Maintenance & Reliability * Diagnose, repair, and maintain injection moulding machines and related equipment. * Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems to maximise machine uptime. * Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on failures and implement corrective actions. * Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules. * Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and machine history information. 2.
