Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Injection Moulding Department: Maintenance / Engineering Location: Hampton Reports To: Maintenance Manager Employment Type: Full‑time / Permanent Salary: £48,000 or £52,000 (plus a 12.5% shift allowance) Role Purpose The Multisdkilled Engineer will provide specialist engineering support for injection moulding operations at Hallite Seals International. The role ensures that moulding machinery, tooling, and associated mechanical systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably to meet production, quality, and business performance targets. Key Responsibilities 1. Maintenance & Reliability * Diagnose, repair, and maintain injection moulding machines and related equipment. * Work with electirc, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems to maximise machine uptime. * Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on failures and implement corrective actions. * Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules. * Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and machine history information. 2. Process and Production Support * Work closely with Process Technicians to identify and resolve mechanical issues affecting cycle time, scrap, and part quality. * Support setup, trials, and validation of mould tools and new materials. * Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance OEE. * Provide rapid-response support to minimise product...
