The Job * Preventative Maintenance & Equipment Uptime: * Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and inspections on injection moulding machines, auxiliary equipment, and related systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical). * Monitor equipment performance parameters, identify potential issues, and take corrective action to prevent breakdowns. * Implement improvements to optimize equipment efficiency and prolong operating life. * Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety regulations. * Breakdown Response & Troubleshooting: * Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot the source of the problem efficiently. * Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults using established procedures and tools. * Minimize downtime and ensure timely restoration of production. * Possess a strong understanding of injection moulding machinery: hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, controls, process variables. * Maintain a working knowledge of safety procedures and LOTO protocols.
