Role: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £52,000 (DOE)
Hours: 40 hours | 3 shift pattern | (Mornings, Afters & Nights)
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on heavy machinery and equipment
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
Support machine installations, commissioning, and upgrades
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Liaise with production teams to minimise downtime and improve machine reliability
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment
Competence in both electrical and mechanical maintenance
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Experience maintaining, repairing and servicing heavy equipment and machinery
Qualifications:
Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering (desirable)
Electrical qualification (e.g. 18th Edition) is advantageous
