The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will join a market-leading FMCG manufacturer, working within a highly skilled engineering team at a large, fully automated production site in Newcastle Upon Tyne. This Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role offers exceptional training, clear progression routes, and the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art manufacturing and packaging machinery within a rapidly growing blue-chip business. The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical fault finding, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement projects, with ongoing OEM specialist training provided. Sector - FMCG / Industrial ManufacturingNon-Negotiable Requirements of Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Must be a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias
- Must be Apprentice Trained
- Must hold a minimum Level 3 Engineering Qualification
- Must have experience within a Manufacturing Environment
Essential Requirements of Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities
- Experience working with automated production machinery
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Desirable Requirements of Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- FMCG manufacturing experience
- PLC fault-finding experience
- Experience xbpsjku working on high-speed production lines
