Swift Temps Ltd are recruiting for an Maintenance Engineer to work for our client on a permanent basis based at their Dishforth site. The Role : Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the successful Maintenance Engineer for this day shift role will have responsibility of providing engineering support to the production team. Responsibilities : Working as a maintenance engineer to carry out all planned, preventative and corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with maintenance systems Investigate, root cause analyses and resolve problems relating to machines and provide support for process and quality issues Ensure all related documentation & record keeping for the shift is up to date Provide comprehensive breakdown information and actions taken to support the planned maintenance system Adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines and requirements Essential Criteria : Time served qualification and a minimum of 2 years experience in a maintenance engineering role Good working knowledge of pneumatic and electrical control systems Good working knowledge of product transfer systems including elevators, drag-chain and auger feed systems Experience in troubleshooting and fault finding Good organisationa...
