Job Title: Multi Trade Repairs and Maintenance Operative\n\nJob Location - OX18 Oxford\n\nCovering surrounding areas Gloucestershire / North Wiltshire (Field based)\n\nSalary - £32,500 - £34,500 (+ Company van and fuel card) per annum\n\nContract type - Permanent\n\nWorking hours - Full Time (39hours per week)\n\nAbout the role\n\nWe are recruiting for a full time Multi Trade Repairs and Maintenance Operative to join our Trades team on a permanent basis.\n\nYou will ensure properties are repaired and maintained to a high standard and will be responsible for carrying out repairs, improvements, surveys and measurements efficiently and economically in accordance with current working practices and all related health and safety legislation and good practice.\n\nBy working in a professional, respectful and courteous manner you will deliver excellent customer service, objectives and achieve behaviour competences.\n\nPlease note that if you are successful in this role, we will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following offer.\n\nAbout you\n\nYou must be to qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ2 level in Building Maintenance, Multi Trade repair and refurbishment operations or demonstrate equivalent trade experience. Previous experience of working within the social housing sector would be beneficial.\n\nYou must have a Full UK Driver`s License to enable you to be successful as you will be travelling to multiple locations weekly - you will be provided with transport.\n\nYou will be required to undertake a range of routine and planned domestic maintenance repairs including the following trades: Basic Plumbing, Carpentry, Joinery, Painting/Decorating, Plastering, Wall and Floor Tiling and Roofing.\n\nExperience with Cap and Cove is .\n\nIt is essential that you are able to ensure the safe and proper use of all mechanical and non-mechanical plant and equipment under their direct control.\n\nYou must have the ability to plan, prioritise and manage your own workload to achieve deadlines and be able to effectively use hand-held electronic devices.\n\nPlease note that if you are successful in this role, we will require evidence of the required certificates and qualifications for this role.
