We are currently partnering with a well-established specialist contractor within the roofing, cladding, and façade sector to recruit a Multi-Discipline Estimator.

Due to a strong order book and upcoming projects, this is a key hire for the business. They are actively reviewing candidates and can move quickly for the right individual.

This is a hands-on estimating role working across roofing and cladding packages on projects typically ranging from £200k to £4m+.

You'll be responsible for producing accurate and competitive tenders while supporting the wider commercial and technical teams through pre-construction and project handover.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing tenders and undertaking detailed take-offs from construction drawings
• Reviewing specifications and producing cost plans and pricing schedules
• Calculating labour, materials, and preliminaries
• Producing marked-up drawings using Bluebeam
• Managing tender submissions, queries, and RFIs
• Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers for quotations
• Attending client meetings and site visits where required
• Supporting project handovers with surveying, design, and management teams
• Assisting with technical submittals and occasional design coordination
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

We're looking for a well-rounded estimator with strong experience across both roofing and cladding, who is confident managing multiple live tenders in a fast-paced environment.

You will ideally have:

• Minimum 5 years' estimating experience across roofing and cladding
• Strong knowledge of flat roofing systems, including:
  • Single ply, hot melt, felt, tapered insulation, and liquid systems
• Experience with rainscreen cladding systems, including:
  • SFS/lightweight framing systems (e.g. Metsec, EOS)
  • Aluminium rainscreen systems
  • Fire barriers and cavity systems
• Familiarity with key manufacturers such as Bauder, Radmat, IKO, Axter, Kemper
• Understanding of U-values, fire compliance, and non-combustible cladding
• Strong Excel skills and experience with estimating software (Bluebeam advantageous)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive, detail-driven approach

• Full-time, office-based role (8:00am – 5:00pm) in Waltham Abbey
• Must be able to drive due to location
