Are you a wizard with vertical video and a pro at turning great ideas into captivating content? I'm teaming up with a leading publishing house who are looking for a motivated and creative Video Producer to join their team on a 12-month contract. This is a chance to work with one of their most dynamic brands, ideating and producing vertical videos that resonate with social audiences across platforms like TikTok and Instagram. If you're a hands-on "doer" with an entrepreneurial mindset, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

• Ideate, produce, and edit original social video, adapting journalism into compelling video scripts.
• Work with writers and editors, mentoring them on how to translate their work into video content.
• Partner with their global newsrooms and editorial leadership on programming strategy to drive audience growth.
• Use audience data and KPIs to inform and improve the vertical video strategy.
• Manage pre- and post-production processes, including shoot schedules and budgets.

What You'll Bring:

• 3+ years of experience in vertical video production, especially in a news environment.
• Strong videography and animation skills, with proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• A portfolio that demonstrates soup-to-nuts experience in creating digital videos that have driven deep, organic engagement.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, with a proactive approach to solving problems and building production infrastructure.
• The ability to manage a constantly evolving workload, balance multiple assignments, and stay calm under pressure.
