Are you an electrically biased engineer or a multi skilled engineer looking for your next big move in manufacturing?
We are partnering with a market leading FMCG company, working in a highly skilled, specialised engineering team.
Key responsibilities:
* Deliver planned preventative maintenance and respond efficiently to breakdowns in a timely manner to maximise equipment uptime * Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding on a variety of equipment * Use system to record maintenance activity and planned maintenance and track KPI's * Work effectively with external contractors and production teams to ensure smooth running of the factory * Ensure full compliance with food safety, environmental and health and safety standards * Maintain a daily engineering report log * Ensure work orders are completed effectively and on time * Adhere to technical procedures and GMP
Key skills & experience:
* Time served or relevant level 3 engineering qualifications * 17th or 18th Edition electrical certification * Previous maintenance or engineering experience within the FMCG industry * Good communication and problem-solving skills * High attention to detail and health and safety standards * Flexibility to cover shifts if required. * Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines * Experience in low and high care environments
