Multiskilled Engineer
Location: Raceview Hatchery Ballymena
Hours: Mon-Friday

We're looking for a proactive Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our Hatchery Engineering Team. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with automated machinery, and improving equipment performance, this role offers long-term stability, variety, and the chance to make a real impact across two modern hatchery sites.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and repair hatchery machinery and vehicles.
  • Lead fault-finding and re-engineering activities on automated equipment.
  • Support contractor management and installation projects.
  • Carry out statutory inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Monitor energy usage using BMS systems.
  • Assist with spare parts management and stock control.
  • Provide callout support across both sites.

What We're Looking For

  • Time/Skill-Served Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) – Electrical Bias essential.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills on automated machinery.
  • Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings.
  • Good reasoning, organisation, and IT skills.
  • 17th/18th Edition.
