Multi-Skilled EngineerLocation: Swadlincote Salary: £46,000 + Overtime Shifts: 4 on 4 off 12 hour days and nights - ContinentalThe RoleWe are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a leading heavy industrial manufacturer. This role is key to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production machinery across the site.You will be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance, working on a range of heavy plant and manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across all machineryRespond quickly to breakdowns and minimise downtimeDiagnose electrical and mechanical faultsRepair and maintain heavy industrial equipmentWork on hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gearboxes, and conveyorsSupport continuous improvement and reliability projectsEnsure all work is completed in line with health & safety standardsRequirementsMulti-skilled engineer (electrical or mechanical bias)Experience within heavy industry / manufacturing (e.g. steel, cement, recycling, aggregates)Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsExperience with PLC fault finding (desirable)Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumaticsEngineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / HNC or equivalent)Welding What's on OfferCompetitive salary + overtimeStable, well-established businessOpportunities for progression and trainingPension and benefits package If you feel this is of interest please send your CV directly to @ Cvtechnical.co.uk or call for a confidential discussion on 01455 291035JBRP1_UKTJ
