Your new company We are currently recruiting an experienced Multi‑Skilled Joiner to join our growing social housing repairs team. This role focusses on providing high‑quality joinery, maintenance, and multi‑trade support across occupied and void properties.
You will be responsible for delivering a first‑class repairs and maintenance service to tenants, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, within agreed timescales, and in line with health & safety guidelines. This is a customer‑facing role, ideal for a professional who takes pride in their work and is confident working independently.
Your new role
Carry out a wide range of joinery repairs within tenanted and empty homes, including: Door hanging, frames, skirting, architraves, and mouldings Kitchen fitting, worktops, and unit repairs Window repairs, easing, and adjustments Boxing‑in, stud walls, and basic structural joinery Deliver multi‑trade duties to support wider repairs, including: Basic plumbing (e.g., tap changes, toilet repairs, silicone work) Patching plaster, minor making‑good work Small tiling repairs and grout renewalWhat you'll need to succeed
Time‑served Joiner or NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent). Strong experience in social housing, domestic repairs, or reactive maintenance (preferred). Proven capability in joinery plus confidence completing minor tasks across additional trades. Full UK driving licenceWhat you'll get in return
