Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, (Day shift), Kent £57,500 Circa + benefits Unknown Resourcing is seeking a dynamic and diligent electrically biased Mult-Skilled Engineer to join our clients Engineering team based in Rochester. The purpose of this role is to support with and facilitate the planned, preventative and routine maintenance of a range of equipment and machinery on site to ensure the smooth running of the facility. Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities: To ensure all machines and equipment are maintained to the optimum standards through adequate maintenance Using fault finding techniques, react quickly to faults and breakdowns, communicating clearly with affected parties and working efficiently to fix the issue. Minimise the likelihood of breakdowns by keeping equipment in a good state of repair and seeking continuous improvement opportunities by looking for ways to reduce the cost impact to the business as a result of downtime and ensuring a systematic planned maintenance programme is in place Communicate with production teams to advance plan for downtime on machinery for service/modification or repairs that need carrying out Maintaining a stock of critical spare parts as well as ordering parts for service and repair work
