Description
Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimise downtime. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in machinery and systems. Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards during all maintenance activities. Collaborate with the production team to optimise equipment performance and efficiency. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work completed and parts used. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
Profile
A successful Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer should have:
A recognised qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering. Proven experience in a similar maintenance role within the FMCG industry. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for machinery and equipment issues. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an engineering environment. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Continental Shift pattern
Base salary £41,248.09
30% shift allowance, which currently equals £53,622.52
