Your role will be to provide effective maintenance support across all site equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\n * Maintaining extrusion and thermoforming machinery to optimum operating standards\n\n * Responding to machine breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and implementing effective repairs\n\n * Supporting and contributing to the planned preventative maintenance programme\n\n * Identifying root causes of recurring issues and implementing corrective actions\n\n * Prioritising workload in line with engineering guidelines and business needs\n\n * Liaising with engineering stores to ensure critical spare parts are available\n\n * Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site\n\nSkills & Experience:\n\n * Multiskilled maintenance engineer with a strong electrical bias (approximately 60% electrical / 40% mechanical)\n\n * Completed a recognised apprenticeship or formal City & Guilds qualification\n\n * Up-to-date knowledge of relevant electrical regulations\n\n * Proven fault-finding and diagnostic capability\n\n * Experience working with PLCs and control panels\n\n * Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics\n\n * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on own initiative\n\n * Good IT skills, attention to detail, and physical fitness\n\n * Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team\n\nWhy Should You Apply?\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and progressive manufacturing business offering strong earning potential, structured shift patterns, and long-term career development.
