Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased)\n\n£47,760 | Day Shift | Food Manufacturing | Permanent\n\nWe are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased) to join a well-established food manufacturing business.\n\nThis is a day shift position within a fast-paced FMCG production environment, supporting high-speed automated lines and ensuring minimal downtime across site.\n\nThe Role\n\n * Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance across production lines\n\n * Electrical fault finding on PLC-controlled machinery\n\n * Support mechanical maintenance where required\n\n * Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime\n\n * Assist with continuous improvement initiatives\n\n * Ensure all work is completed in line with food safety and H&S standards\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n * Proven experience within food manufacturing or FMCG (essential)\n\n * Electrically biased with strong fault-finding capability\n\n * PLC fault-finding experience (Siemens / Allen Bradley / Omron advantageous)\n\n * Experience with drives, motors, inverters, sensors and control systems\n\n * NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent in Engineering\n\n * Able to work effectively in a high-volume production environment\n\nThe Package\n\n * Salary: £47,760\n\n * Permanent position\n\n * Day shift\n\n * Stable, established production environment\n\n * Supportive engineering team\n\nThis role would suit an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable day-shift position within a strong food manufacturing business.\n\nApply now for a confidential discussion
