Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)

I'm partnered with well established and rapidly growing FMCG manufacturer in the North West is seeking a Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong mechanical expertise to join a forward-thinking business with ongoing investment in people, plant, and processes.
Shift Pattern
4 on / 4 off - days & nights (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am) No Saturday night shifts
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Shift Team Leader, you will work closely with production and engineering leadership: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on manufacturing equipment Attend breakdowns and complete mechanical repairs efficiently Ensure all maintenance activity is logged and recorded accurately Identify recurring issues and contribute to root cause analysis Liaise with engineering management regarding parts, spares, and improvements Work as part of a small multi-skilled engineering team Support and mentor junior engineers where required Promote and maintain high Health & Safety standards Contribute ideas to improve reliability, process flow, and engineering best practice Support building maintenance as directed
