As an Engineering Technician, you will support and deliver site projects, from planning through to execution and handover. This includes equipment upgrades, process improvements, reliability enhancements, and H&S and Quality initiatives . You will play a key role in identifying recurring issues and driving continuous improvement using structured problem-solving techniques. The focus is on reducing downtime, improving performance, and delivering sustainable results. What You’ll Need Essential Qualifications & Experience: ONC in Mechanical Engineering Experience in high‑speed manufacturing Good knowledge of pneumatics & hydraulics Practical engineering skills (turning, milling, grinding, welding – MIG/TIG/MMA/aluminium) Skills & Attributes: Strong problem‑solver with clear communication Able to prioritise workload and work to deadlines Good numeracy, literacy and basic project management awareness Team player with a proactive, hands‑on approach Nice to Have: Exposure to automated lines, conveyors or packaging machinery PLC familiarity (Siemens/Allen Bradley) beneficial What It’s Like to Work Here You’ll be welcomed into a supportive team and a culture based on: acting for the long term, accountability, continuous improvement and succeeding together.
