Job Title: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Leicester
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off, rotating days and nights

Salary: £44,500

About the Role

We are seeking a committed and motivated Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join a dynamic team at a leading industrial site. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who is passionate about maintenance, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out remedial engineering work on industrial equipment as directed by the Engineering Manager.
• Diagnose and repair machinery in a safe and timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and management to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions through small projects.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of plant, machinery, and maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and communicate progress effectively to relevant stakeholders.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern (days and nights).
