Job Description

This is a hands-on, site-based opportunity for a multi-skilled maintenance technician supporting a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing operation. The role focuses on minimising downtime, improving equipment reliability, and supporting continuous improvement across production assets.

Description

Key responsibilities:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production and packaging machinery Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability and reduce recurring issues Work with production teams to prioritise work and maintain safe working practices Contribute to TPM activities, root cause analysis, and equipment upgrades Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with site safety standards

Profile

The successful candidate:

Proven experience as a multi-skilled maintenance technician within FMCG or high-volume manufacturing Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems Relevant engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent) Comfortable working in a fast-paced, shift-based environment Safety-conscious, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
