We're ready for you!We're recruiting talented electrically biased Shift Maintenance Engineers to join our fast-paced, clean, state of the art FMCG manufacturing facility.Here's what's in store for you:Safety first environment with the provision of high quality PPEHigh volume (FMCG) production environment with plenty of opportunity to develop your skillsEmpowering team, welcoming your input and encouraging you to apply your expertise.About the RoleContinental shift pattern: 2 days, 2 nights, and 4 off (6-6).If you join us, you'll be on days during your induction.?Your overall contribution at Northwood:Sustaining and improving equipment reliability and efficiency, creating and monitoring innovative maintenance programs, supporting commissioning of new lines and the development of performance measures and yearly maintenance plans.You'll also play a key role in cross-skilling our Operators' skillset in Changeovers, CILs, and minor PPMs and repairs.Your day to day:Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical machinery issues, conducting RCA and implementing long-term solutions and prevention, educating our people on best practice.PLC interrogation/electrical fault findingManaging spare parts, conducting criticality and obsolescence assessments, and supporting CI initiatives.Utilising process improvement tools such as 5S, TPM, and Kaizen, supporting our CI.BenefitsCompany pensionLife assuranceSick payFree company productsFree on-site parkingFood, retail, holidays, cinema, and gyms discountsWellness programmes, including Employee Assistance Program and OnDemand GP serviceFree early access to pay schemeSalary sacrifice schemesEmployee referral schemeRequirementsWhat we need from you:Proven experience as an Multiskilled or Electrically biased Maintenance EngineerBackground in FMCG (e.g. Foods, Packaging, Pharmaceuticals, etc.)A proactive approach to equipment efficiency and reliability.Level 3+ Electrical qualification (ideally obtained through an apprenticeship)JBRP1_UKTJ
