The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- 5 plus years experience in FMCG account management roles
- National Account Management experience; grocery experience with big 4 retail is essential
- P&L owned /strong leadership and forecasting experience
- Strong communication skills to develop and manage key buying relationships
- A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to work closely within a small team
- The energy to thrive in a rapidly growing, evolving business
- A self-starter mindset with ambition to progress
- A genuine passion for food and fresh products
- Proficiency in Excel, powerpoint and sales forecasting tools
- Experience with category data
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering financial targets
- Experience working with Tesco and or Sainsbury’s, including Joint Business Plans, is highly advantageous.
- Scope of the Role
- Account management responsibility for key grocery customers
- Delivering business KPIs across your accounts
- Ownership of volume and value forecasts and internal P&L reporting
- Supporting pricing and promotional strategy
- Leading and supporting Joint Business Plans (JBPs)
- Driving distribution, range reviews, and NPD listings
- Collaborating cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, and finance
