Quartermaster Drinks is brand new International Drinks Agency, focussed on scaling start-ups and new UK market entrants. We represent ambitious Spirits brands from Australia and the USA, acting as their UK sales and marketing team. Launching in June, we are hunting for a passionate team of brand builders committed to delivering impactful results from Day 1. Expect hard work, good fun, and access to accelerated growth. Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for a seasoned National Account Manager based in London. A unique opportunity to work with inspiring brands across the full off-trade retail & pure-player ecosystem. This will require an individual with direct experience managing off-trade national accounts for global Spirits brands. The individual will be the business lead on all things off-trade, setting the vision for future growth and quickly evolving to become our channel lead. Working in conjunction with the marketing and PR team, you'll be responsible for establishing our relationship with buyers, negotiating trade terms and executing JBPs. With a start-up mentality, you'll be both captain and executor while the business grows. This is a role for an ambitious drinks executive looking for greater ownership and quick progression.

 

Qualifications

  • Mandatory: Proven direct experience in a national accounts role within the Spirits category, ideally with exposure to e-commerce pure players or clicks-and-mortar teams.
  • Deep knowledge of the off-trade spirits business in the UK
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to build rapport with brands and senior buyers.
  • Knowledge of the spirits industry, relevant sales channels and competitors
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet measurable objectives
  • Eager to attend and support trade events outside of usual hours, including internationally where needed
