Why join our team?The National Account Manager (NAM) plays a critical role in delivering Samsung UK’s commercial strategy across a portfolio of strategic channel partners—whether in Retail, Indirect Distribution, Operator, or Pureplay (Digital-First) segments.
As the commercial lead for one or more high-value accounts, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end customer relationship and commercial performance across Samsung’s Mobile product categories: Smartphones, Tablets, Wearables, Accessories, and Computing. You will be responsible for the definition and execution of the Joint Business Plan (JBP), ensuring delivery of sell-in, sell-out, ECO attach, and market share growth targets!
This role requires critical thinking, commercial precision, and cross-functional leadership to ensure Samsung’s brand and products achieve maximum impact across the UK market, wherever consumers shop or connect!
Role and Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities
1. Strategic Customer Leadership
• Own the full commercial relationship with a nominated key partner, acting as Samsung’s primary strategic interface.
• Build and implement a robust Joint Business Plan that aligns partner goals with Samsung UK’s revenue and market objectives.
• Drive strategic category development across the portfolio by identifying new opportunities and creating compelling commercial propositions.
2. Commercial Execution & important metric Ownership
• Deliver on all core commercial Key Performance Indicators: revenue growth, sell-in volumes, sell-out performance, ECO attach rate uplift, and in-house share.
• Lead forecasting, annual planning, and quarterly performance reviews with internal collaborators and external partners.
• Manage pricing strategy, promotional investment, and value optimisation to ensure efficient, profitable growth.
3. Partner Engagement & Growth Activation
• Build strong, senior relationships across partner buying, supply, planning, and marketing teams to drive aligned commercial outcomes.
• Negotiate visibility, placement, and promotional campaigns across in-store, online, and channel marketing platforms.
• Ensure Samsung is positioned as a premium, innovative, and trusted partner across all consumer touchpoints.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal teams across Product, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Omni Channel and Field Sales to deliver seamless execution.
• Ensure channel readiness for key launches, promotions, and strategic initiatives—including stock planning, digital content, and POS enablement.
• Represent the customer internally, championing requirements and driving operational excellence.
5. Market Insight & Channel Innovation
• Monitor UK market trends, competitive activity, and evolving consumer behaviours to inform commercial strategy.
• Identify and activate new category opportunities, commercial models, or go-to-market innovation in line with Samsung UKs growth ambitions.
• Use Microsoft Excel or AI based performance analytics to inform strategy and influence both internal and external partners and decision making.
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
• Proven experience in national account management, commercial sales, or channel development ideally within Consumer Electronics, Telecoms, FMCG, or Digital Retail.
• Consistent track record of leading large-scale, multi-category accounts with full commercial ownership and performance delivery.
• Strong analytical and planning capabilities with deep experience in forecasting, pricing models, and commercial performance management.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence in leading both internal cross-functional teams and external senior relationships.
• High-reaching, customer-centric, commercially savvy, and motivated to grow within a fast-paced, high-performance business.

• Commercial important metrics including revenue, sell-out, ECO attach rate, and premium ASP are delivered ahead of target.
