Identify and successfully land new business opportunities aligned with our company strategy and goals Oversee pricing, margins & costs while meeting customer needs Develop and execute strategic plans to support company growth, targets, and long‑term success Work with customers to create solutions that drive value for both sides Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive loyalty and long‑term success Lead tender submissions, aligning with strategy and securing necessary approvals Champion our brand, delivering exceptional customer experiences aligned with our values We will look at buyers from the retail base
Business Growth
With a hunger for business success you’ll spearhead our ambitious future growth plans Play an active role in planning the annual commercial strategy Develop the annual sales budget with clear targeted & organic growth, and concise new customer targets Work with the Commercial Controller to identify and develop opportunities for new business Support Innovation and Product Development strategy Lead strategic customer presentations
Maintaining profitability
Take ownership of the pricing model structure & sending of quotes Develop and implement ‘win‑win’ solutions with customers (e.g. ensure all product margins are launched within the desired margins) Lead tender submissions, aligning with strategy and securing necessary approvals Maintain consistent margins with customers
Account management
To liaise effectively and promptly with customers on commercial matters Ensure day to day supply requirements are met Understanding each customer’s requirements and their individual supply chain Lead internal communications on volume forecasts to ensure teams are aware of all updates (including product launches & delists) Collaborate with the NPD team to guarantee the first‑class service our customers expect Work closely with the NPD, Process and Technical teams to manage customer specifications and the development process Maintain compliance with BRC standards
General
Play an active role in cross‑functional collaboration and role‑specific projects Host & coordinate relevant meetings to ensure smooth operations Champion our brand, delivering exceptional customer experiences aligned with our values
