We're seeking an experienced Neighbourhood Housing Officer to support our social housing client in Liverpool on a full-time, ongoing temporary basis. This is a hybrid role, paying competitive hourly rates and mileage reimbursement. Your new role
Managing your own patch of general needs properties, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, housing and tenancy management frontline services
Investigating and managing cases of anti-social behaviour, safeguarding and other tenancy breaches including gathering evidence, using various legal remedies to protect communities, serving eviction notices and representing at court where required
Supporting the Income team with tenant arrears
Assisting with lettings and allocations, completing pre-tenancy assessments and tenancy sign-ups
Dealing with other tenancy management matters and requests such as mutual exchanges, abandonments, successions, terminations and failures to allow access
Liaising with Asset management teams and contractors to ensure repairs & maintenance requests are carried out in a timely manner
Acting as a main point of contact for customers, stakeholders and other external agencies for your area, responding to general enquiries or managing complaints
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in a housing/tenancy management role within a social housing environment
