Network Engineer – 6-month contract – Doncaster/RemoteMy Customer is currently seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to support our customer's operational environment, focusing on BAU activities and ticket resolution across a complex enterprise network estate.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced support environment, enjoys troubleshooting, and can take ownership of network-related incidents and service requests.Key Skills required from the Network Engineer: Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) – policy management, authentication, and access controlPalo Alto Panorama – centralised firewall management and monitoringPalo Alto Prisma – cloud-delivered security and access solutionsCisco Networking – solid understanding of routing, switching, and general network infrastructureCisco Wireless / WLC (Wireless LAN Controllers) – configuration and support of wireless environmentsCisco Catalyst Center – network management and automation (formerly DNA Center) would be beneficialSD-WAN– configuration and support of SD-WAN environments Key Responsibilities of the Network Engineer: Provide day-to-day BAU support, managing and resolving network-related tickets within agreed SLAsTroubleshoot and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performanceSupport and administer network security platforms, including firewall and access control technologiesWork closely with internal teams and third parties to resolve incidents and implement fixesAssist with minor changes, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiativesMaintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and network configurations The Network Engineer would ideally be required onsite, 1/2 days a week in DoncasterApply now to speak with VIQU IT in confidence.
