Network Security Engineer Natilik City Of London, England, United Kingdom Overview Natilik is seeking an experienced Firewall Engineer to join our team in supporting and optimising a variety of complex enterprise firewall estates. This mid-level to senior, hands‑on technical role involves operational support, troubleshooting, incident response, and collaboration with our wider team. Key Responsibilities

Manage, support, and troubleshoot enterprise firewall environments across multi‑site networks. Maintain and optimise firewall policies, routing, clustering, and performance. Support incident response, monitoring, alerting, and security event analysis. Produce clear documentation, reports, and configuration records. Contribute to continuous improvement, architecture enhancements, and best practices.

Skills and Experience

5+ years experience working on Checkpoint firewalls in large/complex environments (e.g. MDSM, VSX, SmartConsole, Maestro, gateway appliances). Strong troubleshooting skills across firewalls, VPNs, security policies, and network connectivity. Comfortable operating under pressure during major incidents or high‑urgency situations. Familiarity with security monitoring tools and operational service processes. CCSA or CCSE certified.

Nice to Have

Cisco security platforms (e.g. ASA, Firepower, FTD/FMC). Experience or exposure to AlgoSec. PCNSE or CCNP certified.
