Job Description

About the Role

A leading professional services firm is seeking a collaborative and motivated New Business Sales Executive to join its growing team. The organisation has a strong track record of investing in high‑profile brand partnerships, thought‑leadership initiatives, and innovative marketing campaigns.

This newly developed Campaign Sales function is designed to bring the same level of excellence to nurturing and converting sales opportunities generated through these activities.

Working at the intersection of marketing and business development, you will play a key role in driving new client acquisition. You’ll collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, fee earners, and specialist teams across the firm to identify opportunities, support strategic campaigns, and contribute to the firm’s wider growth ambitions.

About You

You are energetic, organised, and motivated—someone who understands the importance of shaping how sales operates within a modern professional services environment. You excel at building strong relationships, communicating with clarity, and managing multiple priorities with confidence.

You’ll be the first point of contact for new client relationships, managing a steady flow of inbound leads and proactively identifying new opportunities. You’ll also benefit from close mentoring by senior leaders and enjoy clear opportunities for career development within a fast‑growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the firm’s services, target client personas, and strategic growth priorities
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Qualify inbound enquiries and campaign‑generated leads, ensuring consistent follow‑up and conversion
  • Build and maintain a targeted pipeline of prospects; schedule qualified meetings with internal stakeholders
  • Use sales‑enablement tools to identify buying signals and generate new campaign ideas
  • Apply data‑driven insights to prioritise outreach and engagement
  • Initiate and nurture relationships with senior decision‑makers at target organisations
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activity in HubSpot, ensuring data integrity
  • Follow up on internal sales meetings to improve lead quality and pursuit effectiveness
  • Provide clear, accurate reporting on pipeline and activity
  • Demonstrate best practice in CRM usage and sales‑enablement technologies

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will:

  • Bring 2–3 years’ experience in a similar sales or business development role
  • Be proficient with HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and related sales‑enablement tools
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally
  • Understand client challenges and articulate how solutions can deliver value
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and creative problem‑solving skills
  • Manage multiple priorities with excellent organisational and project‑management abilities
  • Be highly motivated, relationship‑driven, and committed to delivering high‑quality work
  • Thrive in a fast‑paced environment with competing deadlines

Contributing to the Team

  • Act as a role model within the Campaign Sales and Business Development teams
  • Uphold the team’s standards of professionalism and strategic value
  • Support the development of outreach strategies across practice groups
  • Foster a collaborative, supportive team culture
  • Provide coaching and share best practice across the wider business
