Lola - www.meetlola.co is a massage therapy brand targeting the female market. The brand is currently sold successfully to more than 30 premium beauty retailers, department stores and drugstores in Europe, Middle East, Australia and more. We are growing significantly, doubling our sales over the last two consecutive years and we have big plans ahead so now is a really exciting time to join our growing team.


We are launching new products and looking for a part time New Product Development (NPD) Manager (open to full time) passionate and creative to join our team and take the brand Lola to the next level. As Product Manager, you will be the steward of Lola's new product roadmap and ensure it resonates with our target audiences. You’ll lead the charge in crafting impactful new products and foster customer loyalty while helping drive our sales growth.


The New Product Development Manager will be responsible for expanding our private label assortment by identifying, sourcing, and developing new products from Asia. This role combines market research, supplier evaluation, and hands-on product development to ensure that new products meet our quality, brand, and market requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Sourcing & Research – Identify and evaluate potential new products in Asia that align with our strategy.
  • Supplier Selection – Request and assess product samples, conduct quality testing, and select the most suitable supplier based on quality, pricing, and reliability.
  • Product Development – Work closely with suppliers to finalize product specifications and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Launch Preparation – Coordinate all pre-launch activities including packaging design, user manuals, product photography, and other marketing assets.
  • Project Management – Oversee the timeline from initial idea to market launch, ensuring all stages are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Quality & Compliance – Ensure products meet relevant safety regulations and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of product sourcing and supplier management, ideally in Asian markets.
  • Experience with packaging, technical documentation, and product presentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional Asian language skills are a plus.
  • Experience with premium brands.
