The Role:
We are supporting a highly respected, growing advanced manufacturing business in the search for an NPI Engineer to play a key role in bringing new technologies and products into production. This is a hands-on, varied role where you'll be responsible for supporting the introduction of new products into a manufacturing environment. You'll collaborate across engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure products are not only technically sound but also efficient and cost-effective to manufacture.

Responsibilities of the New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer:
Supporting the introduction of new products from concept through to full production.
Working closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth product launches.
Reviewing designs to ensure manufacturability, quality, and cost efficiency.
Supporting process development and improvement within a batch manufacturing environment.
Using CAD tools (ideally AutoCAD) to support design and engineering activities.
Working with MRP systems (preferably IFS) to manage product and production data.
Assisting with costing, planning, and technical documentation
Driving collaboration across departments to resolve issues and deliver solutions
The Candidate:
The successful NPI Engineer will have the following skills and abilities:
Degree or HND in Electronic Engineering (or similar), ideally with a physics or power electronics background.
Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with component or batch production.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
Experience with CAD (AutoCAD preferred).
Exposure to MRP systems (IFS desirable).
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work across teams.
