Multi-skilled Shift Engineer - Night Shift | £55k + Overtime | Formal Training

Shift Pattern: Continental 3's & 2's night shift

Commutable from: Peterborough, Corby, Spalding, Market Deeping, Bourne, Whittlesey, Yaxley, Ely

This is a great opportunity for a proactive Multi-skilled Engineer to join a recently invested production facility. You'll work on maintaining, repairing, and improving food processing and packaging equipment, with opportunities to develop your skills through formal training. PLC and inverter experience is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems
* Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns to minimise downtime
* Update maintenance logs and support improvement projects
* Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
* Work safely and efficiently alongside colleagues and contractors

Skills & Experience

* Recognised electrical/mechanical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* CMMS, Excel, Word, Outlook skills
* IET Wiring Regulations (18th edition)
* IPAF 3a licence desirable (training available)
* Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
