Night Support Worker – Edlington - £12.96 per hour
Shifts: 8pm - 8am - 5 on, 5 off
17.5 hour contract

As a Night Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives. Our residential service in Edlington is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to the lives of others, whether that’s helping our colleagues grow in confidence or the people we support gain independence so that they meet their goals.

We’re interested in our Night Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Night Support Workers should preferably hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress and challenging behaviours, mental health conditions, autism, acquired brain injury, forensic histories and people who have experienced trauma.
