We are recruiting a Shift Technician to join the team located in London.\nThe successful candidate will deliver high calibre maintenance services within Building Clusters. Responding speedily to fault/breakdown requests and efficiently undertaking routine scheduled maintenance of plant and/or equipment being pre-requisite and of paramount importance.\n \nRole Summary:\n\nCarry out routine planned preventative maintenance tasks as required within across HV and LV distribution systems, associated plant / equipment and HVAC mechanical cooling / heating systems as determined by the CMMS system's work orders\n\nMonitor BMS for running and alarm conditions\n\nAttend to A/C related clients' problems\n\nBuilding walk-rounds, taking meter readings from UPS, PDU's and utilities\n\nInvestigate faults, identify causes and effect remedies\n\nPrepare accurate / timely reports as required\n\nEnsure corrective / repair works are carried out in accordance with current regulations\n\nAssist when and where required with installation works\n\nParticipate in emergency call out roster providing cover for weekend and team member absences, as required\n\nDevelop a comprehensive understanding of the portfolio buildings their layouts, functions and complexities\n\nEstablish and develop trusting, meaningful relationships with Facilities Managers, Client staff and representatives\n\nEndorse day to day and future compliance to safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods\n\nVolunteer ideas / initiatives that contribute to the service levels and delivery\n\nUndertake other tasks, as required by Customer Services Supervisor / Contract Manager, in accordance with experience and competencies\n\n12 hour rotating shift\n\nExperience Required:\n \nEssential\n\nCity & Guilds Electrical Competency Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent\n\nGood building services knowledge\n\nCritical Environment Experience\n\nGood Customer relationship skills\n\nWorking knowledge of "Permit to work" systems\n\nUnderstand and interpret technical drawings / processes\n\nExperience of CMMS and BMS systems\n \nDesirable\n\nTime served electrical apprenticeship\n\nExperience of working in banking environment\n\nHV switching qualification/experience\n\n18th Edition IEE Regulations\n\nExperience of Microsoft Office applications\n\nACoPs L8
