Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor (NQ–3 PQE)
Location: Manchester
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a junior Construction Solicitor to join a leading, international law firm with a strong presence in Manchester. The firm is widely recognised for its work across the infrastructure, energy, real estate, and development sectors, advising major UK and global clients on high-value and complex projects.
The Role
You will join a well-established construction team focusing on non-contentious matters, working closely with colleagues across real estate, projects, and commercial teams. Your work will include:
Drafting and negotiating a range of construction documents, including building contracts, professional appointments, and collateral warranties
Advising on procurement strategies and project structuring
Supporting major development and infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally
Providing risk management advice to clients throughout the project lifecycle
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale transactions

About You
Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or due to qualify soon), with up to 3 years’ PQE
Some experience in construction law (contentious or non-contentious), with a strong interest in specialising in non-contentious work
Strong drafting and analytical skills
Commercially aware with a keen interest in the construction and infrastructure sectors
A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
