An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified to 2 years' PQE Family Solicitor to join a highly regarded and progressive law firm based in Newbury. The firm is recognised in leading legal directories, including the Legal 500, and is known for delivering high-quality legal services to a strong and loyal client base.

You will be involved in a wide variety of family law matters, with the opportunity to develop your own caseload as your experience grows. The work will include divorce and separation, financial remedy proceedings, private children matters, pre‑ and post‑nuptial agreements, and cohabitation disputes.
You will work closely with senior members of the team, gaining hands‑on experience while receiving the guidance and supervision needed to progress your career. The firm places a strong emphasis on delivering excellent client care, particularly in sensitive and complex matters.
Key Responsibilities
Assist on complex family law matters while gradually managing your own caseload, draft legal documents and correspondence, provide clear and empathetic advice to clients, build strong client relationships, and support business development and networking initiatives.
Qualifications
• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with NQ to 2 years' PQE in family law.
• Gained experience during your training contract or post‑qualification within a reputable firm.
• Strong drafting and communication skills, a compassionate and professional approach, and a genuine interest in developing your career in family law.
• Demonstrate commercial awareness, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
