Nursery Assistant Apprentice

South Croydon | Full Time | April Start

Reeson Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established nursery in South Croydon that is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant Apprentice to join their team on a full-time basis from April.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in Early Years education while working towards a recognised qualification. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience across the nursery, supporting children's learning, development and care within a structured and nurturing environment.

The Role

Supporting children across Babies, Toddlers and Pre-School

Assisting with play-based learning activities

Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment

Supporting daily routines, including mealtimes and personal care

Working closely with experienced Early Years practitioners

Completing coursework as part of the apprenticeship programme

The successful candidate will:

Be aged 18 or over

Show a genuine interest in working with young children

Be reliable, proactive and eager to learn

Demonstrate good communication and teamwork skills

Be willing to complete an Early Years qualification

Hold (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS

Be committed to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
