Early Years Practitioner - Leeds Employer: Veritas Education Location: Leeds

Are you passionate about helping young children learn, explore, and thrive? Veritas Education is working with a beautiful, independent nursery in Leeds, offering a fantastic opportunity for an Early Years Practitioner to join a warm and welcoming team.

This charming nursery is known for its wonderful outdoor space and engaging day-to-day activities that inspire curiosity and creativity. The role is open to both qualified practitioners (Level 2 or Level 3) and unqualified candidates with relevant childcare experience who are eager to develop their career in early years.

You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn through play and develop confidently.

Key Responsibilities

Support a wide range of creative and play-based learning activities, both indoors and outdoors

Encourage children's development, independence, and wellbeing

Assist with observations and contribute to children's learning journeys

Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues

Follow safeguarding procedures and nursery policies at all times

What We're Looking For

Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, or relevant childcare experience

A caring, patient, and positive approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Basic understanding of EYFS and safeguarding, or willingness to learn
