We’re\nlooking for an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our\nwonderful team. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week), with working\nhours between 8:00am and 6:00pm.

Key\nResponsibilities:

·       Ensure the safety and wellbeing of\nevery child, staff, parent, and visitor at all times.
·       Understand and ensure that the\nrequirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met throughout the\nnursery.
·       Assist in managing the acceptance and\nadministration of medication and ensure care plans are thorough and up to date\nfor children or staff with health conditions.
·       Ensure that all children receive\nstimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources that are\nappropriate to their age and stage of development.
·       Promote respect and credibility for\nthis position through effective communication skills, impartiality, and\nconsistency.
·       Inspire staff team with creative\nideas and new challenges with aim to achieve outstanding practice.
·       Undertake any other duties to ensure\nthe smooth running of the nursery and safety and wellbeing of children, staff,\nand families.

Requirements:

·       Full and relevant Level 3 in\nChildcare qualification - Essential
·       Over 1 years’ experience of working\nin Early Years - Essential
·       Sound knowledge of the statutory\nframework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
·       Over 1 years’ experience of working\nin a management position - Desirable
·       Level 5 qualification in Childcare\nand/or Management and Leadership - Desirable
·       Experience of successfully passing an\nOfsted inspection to good or outstanding – Desirable
