Job Title: Nursery ManagerLocation: South LiverpoolArea: Allerton Pay: £40,000 Job DescriptionHays Education are working with a private nursery based in Allerton who are seeking a Nursery Manager to join them on a full-time basis.The role will involve:
Lead, motivate, and supervise nursery staff Manage recruitment, inductions, training, appraisals, and staff rotas Promote safeguarding, professionalism, and effective teamwork Ensure delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Monitor children's learning, development, and emotional wellbeing Support inclusive practice and meet individual children's needs Ensure compliance with Ofsted, safeguarding, health and safety, and statutory requirements Maintain accurate records, policies, and procedures Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead where required Previous Experience Required
Previous experience working in a leadership position in a nursery or childcare setting Level 4 or 5 in Leadership management Level 5 in childcare
