1 x Level 2/3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner - Salary: £28,362
1 x Level 3 Qualified Lead Nursery Practitioner - Salary: £29,527 – £29,672
Job Role 1: Lead Early Years Educator (Lead Nursery Practitioner)
Role Overview:
The Lead Early Years Educator role is suited to a confident nursery practitioner with leadership experience who can support the management team in leading best practice across the setting. The Lead nursery practitioner will take responsibility for curriculum planning, staff guidance and EYFS compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a key person to a group of children
Lead and support curriculum planning in line with EYFS
Support, mentor and guide Early Years Educators and Assistants
Monitor children’s development through observations and assessments
Promote safeguarding, inclusion and best practice
Build effective partnerships with parents and carers
Support the day-to-day running of the nursery
Essential Criteria:
Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
Post-qualification experience as a nursery practitioner
Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
Experience supporting or supervising staff
Good communication and organisational skills
Job Role 2: Early Years Educator (Nursery Practitioner)
Role Overview:
This position is ideal for a dedicated nursery practitioner who is passionate about supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing within a stimulating and safe environment. The nursery practitioner will work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality early years provision.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a key person and support children’s development
Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning activities
Observe, assess and record children’s progress
Maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
Essential Criteria:
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
Understanding of the EYFS framework
Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
Ability to work effectively as part of a team as a nursery practitioner
