Nursery Practitioner

Permanent Part time  | 32 hours per week | 2 positions - Monday - Thursday and Tuesday - Friday

£12.64 per hour

Level 2 or 3 Childcare Qualification essential

We are delighted to present a new and thrilling opportunity for you to join our pre-school room, catering to children aged 3 and 4 years old. Your role will primarily involve collaborating with our room leader to support activities and plan according to the children's individual needs.

We are committed to promoting children's development through both planned and child-led activities. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to participate in the children's extracurricular activities, which include monthly sessions in French, Football, and Arts and Crafts. We actively encourage our staff to explore and engage with the wider community together with the children. This can include outings to the post office, shops, or the park to enhance the children's physical development. To ensure a seamless transition, training will be provided during the initial few weeks.

Responsibilities but not limited to:

- Deliver learning experiences and planned activities for a key group that provides outstanding opportunities for the children

- Work within a team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children

- Work in partnership with parents to ensure the outcomes for children are met

- Assess and report on children's progress to ensure continued development

- Be passionate, inspiring and work effectively within a team and have a hands on approach to your own professional learning and development

- To be fun, caring and friendly
