We are recruiting passionate and reliable Nursery Practitioners and Nursery Assistants to join our supply team. This flexible opportunity allows you to work across a variety of early years settings, gaining valuable experience while choosing hours that suit your lifestyle.
Whether you are a qualified practitioner or looking to build your experience as a nursery assistant, we welcome individuals who are committed to providing high-quality care and support to young children.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the care and development of children aged 05 years
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
- Assist with play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Work collaboratively with nursery staff to maintain routines and structure
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times
Requirements
For Nursery Practitioners:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
For Nursery Assistants:
- A genuine interest in working with children
- Previous experience in a childcare or nursery setting
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, flexible, and reliable attitude
- Basic understanding of safeguarding (training can be provided)
For All Candidates:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service xbpsjku (or willingness to obtain one)
- Understanding of safeguarding (training can be provided)
